Academic and Professional Background
Paul Gullickson received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in business from Augustana College in Rock Island , Illinois in 1972. Right after graduation he entered the insurance and financial services field. In the early years of his 36+ year career, his responsibilities included hiring and training new associates. Later Paul devoted full time work with his own clients emphasizing Business and Estate Planning solutions.
Paul earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1979, the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1984, the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation in 1994 and the Master of Science Financial Services (MSFS) designation in 1996. In 2004, Paul and his family formed the Gullickson Group with the combination of their four individual practices into this partnership. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, American Society of CLU/ChFC and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Personal
Paul is married to Andrea and they have two children, Todd and Scott. He is active in his church and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. When he is not spending time golfing, you may find him on a riding lawnmower sprucing up the neighborhood, boating, or traveling- particularly to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.

Andrea Madesian

Andrea started her career with The Gullickson Group in 2010. She provides administrative support to Paul, Todd and Scott as well as assisting clients with servicing needs. Prior experience includes 8 years of customer service.
Andrea attended Scott Community College, and then graduated from Hamilton Technology College. Andrea enjoys being outside whenever possible and spending time with her daughter. She has recently started with a bowling league and would like to continue being on a team for some years to come.

Academic and Professional Background
Todd Gullickson received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Management (with an emphasis in Economics) from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He was a member of the Luther Men’s Swimming Team (named Captain his junior and senior year) and swam with the Norse to an undefeated senior season. He obtained his Masters in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 2009.
He obtained his licenses during two internships with River Bend Financial Group during his college summer break. After graduation in 2000 he joined River Bend Financial Group to start his practice full time. In 2001 Todd earned the Certified Funds Specialist (CFS) designation, in 2003 the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation and 2004 the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. Also in 2004 he and his family formed the Gullickson Group with the combination of their four individual practices. 2007 was a busy year as Todd completed the requirements for Chartered Advisor in Senior Living (CASL) designation and Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation. In 2011 he was awarded the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Personal
Todd is married to Dora, and they have three children: Brendan, Emma and Leah. He is active with the Shriners as a member of the local fraternity’s board of directors. His interests include golfing, traveling, boating and enjoying his children.

Scott T. Gullickson Insurance and Financial Services

Academic and Professional Background
Scott Gullickson received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Communications and a minor in Sociology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa in 2003. He was a member of the Luther Men's Rugby Team all four years in college.
Scott obtained his insurance license in 2004. In that same year, Scott and his family formed the Gullickson Group with the combination of their four individual practices into this partnership. He obtained his security license in 2005. Scott is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Personal
Scott is married to Sara and they have two children: Drew & Grace, and a new addition on the way. Scott is active in his church helping as a leader with the junior high group. His interests include golfing, boating and spending time with his family and friends.

Mary Jane Young

In 1986 Mary Jane joined Paul R. Gullickson in the insurance and financial services field after working 10 years as a bookkeeper for a CPA. Many changes have taken place since the Gullickson Group was formed in 2004 and the office went from a two-person office to now a seven-person office.
Mary Jane and her husband, Charlie, have been married for 45 years. They have two children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mary Jane enjoys philanthropic work through the state level of a fraternal organization, reading, traveling and her grandchildren.

of Northern Iowa

Personal
Betsy and her husband,
Justin, have one
child, Cooper. Betsy
is a native of the
Quad Cities and
just recently moved
into a new home
in her home town.
When Betsy isn’t
working she enjoys
spending time with
her family and their
dog, Tippy. She
is also involved
in a bowling league

and their significant
others.

WI in May of 2009
with her Bachelor

Marketing. While
at Marquette, Megan
was involved with
Student Government,
Advertising Club,
and Campus Ministry.
She was also a member
of Alpha Delta Sigma,
the National Advertising
Honor Society of
the American Advertising
Federation, and
Kappa Tau Alpha,
the National Honor
Society Member in
Journalism and Mass
Communication.
Megan began at
the Gullickson Group
in January 2010,
working on and off,
and returned in
November 2010. As
a Client Relations
Assistant, Megan
provides service
for the variety
of clients at the
Gullickson Group.
Megan enjoys cheering
on her Green Bay
Packers, Michigan
Wolverines, Chicago
Blackhawks, and
Marquette Golden
Eagles every opportunity
she has. She has
a black lab named
Jake, which she
adores dearly.
Her interests include
couponing, spending
time with her family,
and volunteering.
Megan is an active
volunteer and fundraiser
for Special Olympics,
both locally and
in her home town.
She has been volunteering
for Area 16 (Starved
Rock) for eight
years and recently
joined Area 4 (Western),
serving the Quad
Cities.
